Dance Film is an interesting art. It breaks the laws of real time transitions that dancing with a body in front of an audience requires an artist to adhere to. You might dance in front of an audience (I.E. The Camera) for hours over the course of days or weeks, but the “dance” is only 3 minutes long. In some ways it allows you to have more control, in other ways it makes you an outsider with your own body.
